Sports Week 2016

Nepalese Army Institute of Health Sciences(NAIHS) celebrated its SportsWeek-2016 from 23 to 26 March in its own ground amidst a very colorful and sportic fiesta.

The inagural events included the inagural speech by the executive director of NAIHS, Major General(Rtd.) Prof Dr. Prakash Raj Pande , Welcome notes by the Principal of College of Medicine(COM)Brigadier General Prof Dr. Brajendra Srivastava and Principal of College of Nursing(CON)Brigadier General Prof. Dr. Narbada Thapa.

The four days of sports events encompassed a very competitive yet highly disciplined moments in Football, Volleyball, Badminton , Cricket, Table-tennis, Chess,Tug-of-war and even Arts and paintings.All students from COM and CON participated in equal enthusiasm and displayed their talents in highly motivated, disciplined and professional manner.

This year running shields of COM and CON were bagged by the Red House teams of both colleges.

The closing ceremony was even more colorful and joyous because of winners happy faces with glittering medals, certificates and trophies.The students concluded this years sports week by enjoying feast and observing musicalgala in the evening.
